Henry Cavill is a British actor known for his roles in popular movies like "Man of Steel" and "The Witcher". Born on May 5, 1983, in Jersey in the Channel Islands, Henry started acting at a young age and has since become a household name in Hollywood.
Henry was born to Marianne, who was a secretary in Jersey, and Colin Cavill, who worked as a stockbroker. He was one of five boys and grew up in a community that was very supportive of sports. At an early age, Henry developed an interest in acting after watching the movie "Superman" starring Christopher Reeve.
At the age of 17, Henry landed his first acting role on the television series "The Count of Monte Cristo". However, it wasn't until his portrayal of Charles Brandon on Showtime's "The Tudors" that he gained notoriety.
