He is popularly known for anchoring most of the political programs on the rise tv station. Oseni is also known as a tech enthusiast, mentor for small business start-ups across Africa, investor, author, and the chief executive manager of NEO media group.

Early Life and Education

Oseni was born on the 8th of April 1980 in Lagos State, where he was also raised by his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Oseni. He is from Odogbolu, a Local Government Area in Ogun State, a state located in the south Western part of Nigeria. He is of Yoruba descent by tribe and he has lived some of his life in his home state before he left for other parts of the country due to the nature of his career.

Oseni attended a federal government college during his high school days and then, he attended the federal university of Agriculture Abeokuta, where he studied Animal physiology/reproductive physiology and graduated with a BSC (Hons) in the course. He also attended Lagos business school, the pan-Atlantic university where he acquired a certificate in entrepreneurship management.

Career and Achievements

Oseni has been in the business of journalism for over 18 years and still counting. His career started off as a broadcaster and he has worked with many radio stations like; J.fm radio Warri, unique FM Ilesa, gold FM radio Ilsea, Ogun State Radio as a presenter, Osun State Government, and Inspiration FM. He has also worked with various television media stations in Nigeria and he is a BBC Bristol Analyst on African Issues since 2014-till date. In 2017 he was a TV continental Analyst on small business and Economy 2017 and a Facilitator Nigerian Bar Association conference in 2021.

He was one of the co-founders of a loyal bonus e-commerce company and also Co-founded Edupear Education Innovation learning. Rufai has been a featured guest speaker at top Ivy League towers including Cambridge University and the University of Sussex, amongst others. Rufai is a toastmaster par excellence. He has moderated panel sessions for various ministries of the Nigerian government and the government of Mauritius.

Oseni is also passionate about technology and innovation. He is an avid reader of tech blogs and magazines, and he loves to explore new gadgets and software. He has invested in several tech start-ups across Africa, such as Paystack, Flutterwave, Andela, Kobo360, etc. He also mentors young entrepreneurs who are interested in building tech solutions for Africa's problems.

Oseni has authored several books on topics ranging from politics, business, leadership, personal development, etc. Some of his books are: The Power of Influence: How to Win Friends and Influence People in the Digital Age; The Art of Negotiation: How to Negotiate Anything with Anyone Anywhere; The Entrepreneur's Mindset: How to Think Like an Entrepreneur and Succeed in Business; etc.

Oseni has received many awards and recognitions for his outstanding work in journalism and media. Some of them are: The Nigerian Media Merit Award for Best TV Presenter (2019); The African Leadership Excellence Award for Media Personality of the Year (2020); The Future Awards Africa Prize for Journalism (2021); etc.

Personal Life

Oseni is married to a beautiful woman whose name he has not disclosed to the public. He prefers to keep his personal life private and away from the media spotlight. He has two children, a boy and a girl, whom he loves dearly. He is a devoted Muslim who practices his faith diligently.

Oseni enjoys traveling around the world and learning about different cultures and people. He also likes to play chess, golf, tennis, and soccer in his spare time. He is a fan of Manchester United Football Club and Lionel Messi.
