DJ Khaled, born on November 26, 1975, is an American DJ, record executive, and music producer. He is widely known for his hit songs and successful albums as well as for being a social media sensation.

Early Life

DJ Khaled was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Palestinian parents who had immigrated to the United States. Growing up, he was heavily influenced by the music of his city and began DJing at a young age.


Khaled relocated to Miami in the mid-1990s where he found success within Miami's hip hop scene. He landed a job at the radio station WEDR 99 Jamz where he eventually became the co-host of The Luke Show. As his popularity grew on airwaves, Khaled began releasing mixtapes that featured popular artists like Lil Wayne and Fat Joe.

In 2006, Khaled signed with Def Jam Recordings and released his debut studio album "Listennn...the Album" which saw commercial success and solidified his place in mainstream hip hop. Since then, he has released numerous albums which have featured collaborations with some of the industry's biggest names such as Jay-Z , Beyoncé , Justin Bieber , Rihanna , Drake , Nicki Minaj and many more.

Khaled is also known for his presence on social media platforms like Snapchat where he constantly shares motivational posts that have since become known as his infamous "keys to success."

DJ Khaled married Nicole Tuck in 2016 and they have two children together.
